For many of us, traveling on the FST or YDT was the first time we had the opportunity to travel to a developing country. The strangers we met at the airport became our family on this adventure. It was a journey of faith and discovery. We were humbled and amazed by the people that welcomed us into their homes and communities. And occasionally shocked by what we saw. At the time it was difficult to leave our new friends behind and head for home. Most of us agree that the tour experience changed our lives forever.
We are inviting all former tour participants from Ontario, and anyone who thinks they might like to go on a tour, to a pot luck lunch at 12 noon, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Bethel Missionary Church,1531 Bridge Street, NEW DUNDEE
You are encouraged to bring your spouse, partner or a friend as well as a main course dish or dessert to share.
We ask that you bring one picture or memento that you consider represents the high light of your tour experience. After lunch there will be a short discussion time as well as an opportunity to share stories.
