Exploring CFGB Food Study & Youth Discovery Tours

Just some of the former FST/YDT participants, spouses and
friends who attended the gathering on July 17 in New Dundee.

"I fell in love with Ethiopia.", said one former Food Study Tour participant. "In fact, so much so, a couple of years later I took my grandchildren."

Another former participant said, " It was like crossing a bridge." of his tour to India, as he reflected on the transformative impact of this cultural experience.

Participants at this gathering shared their stories of people and places, of culture and connections, of projects and polictics.

"We need to remember that we are only half the story."  remarked another. The work done in Canada to support the Foodgrains Bank is only one fraction of the sucess of the projects. We need to remember the hard working communities and our partners overseas are absolultely essential in our mission of ending hunger.

We appreciate everyone's effort and input in making this day a positive experience.
